Overview

ToolBox ("the Site") is a collection of free online tools that run entirely in your browser. All processing — text encoding, formatting, hashing, password generation, image compression, QR code generation and everything else — happens locally on your device with JavaScript.

We do not operate user accounts, and we do not receive, store or transmit the content you process with our tools. This policy explains what little data exists when you use the Site.

What we never collect

  • Tool content: the text, JSON, tokens, files and images you paste or upload into a tool are processed in your browser and never sent to us or to anyone else.
  • Account data: the Site has no registration, login or user profiles.
  • Profiles: we do not build advertising or behavioural profiles about you, and we do not sell or share visitor data with data brokers.

Local storage

We store exactly one preference in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme choice. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and you can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.

Hosting and server logs

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare automatically processes standard technical request data — such as your IP address, browser user agent, and the URL requested — in order to deliver pages, defend against abuse and operate its global CDN.

This data is controlled by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy). We do not use it to identify or profile individual visitors.

Analytics and advertising

The Site shows ads served by Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies, including device identifiers, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

We run no analytics of our own; our host Cloudflare provides only aggregate, cookieless request statistics. The content you process inside a tool is never involved in advertising in any way — it never leaves your browser.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or at aboutads.info/choices, and see how Google uses data from sites that use its services at google.com/policies/technologies/partner-sites. Where local law requires consent before advertising cookies are set, for example in the EEA or the UK, personalized advertising is enabled only according to the choices you make in the consent message shown on the Site.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and because no personal information is collected, none is knowingly collected from children.

Your rights

Under regulations such as the GDPR or CCPA you have rights regarding personal data — access, correction, deletion and portability. Because the Site does not collect personal data, there is generally nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete. If you believe we have processed personal data about you, contact us and we will address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
